Managing Director

 

Nori is the founder and Managing Director of Ankor Property Group, a property development company based in London. He has worked with investors and developers for the last 12 years on the design, build and delivery of residential and student accommodation throughout London and the South East of England. Ankor has over 500 residential units under management which Nori has built up over the last 12 years. Ankor has a development pipeline with a GDV in excess of £110m.

JAMIE LUDLOW BSC Hons 

Head of Development

 

A surveyor with over 20 years experience in the property industry, Jamie joined Ankor Property Group in November 2014 and focuses mainly on student and residential accommodation investments and development sites.

Previously Jamie was a founding member of Prime Retail Property Consultants LLP, a niche property agency practice based in the West End, London. He advised numerous high profile clients on student accommodation such as LaSalle Asset Management (LIM), M&G Real Estate, Schroders and Victoria Hall (which currently owns over 7,000 student beds in the UK). Prior to that Jamie worked at Cushman & Wakefield in the Development Advisory and Consultancy Team.

LAURENCE HOWARD DAVIS

Non-Executive Director  

 

Laurence Howard Davis, aged 48 and originally from London, brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a non-executive transaction advisor for Ankor Property Group. With a career deeply rooted in the property development sector, Laurence offers strategic guidance to the board on property transactions. His extensive experience includes scaling his family’s retail business, Crocodile, to 67 units before its sale, managing retail developments at Heron Sellers and The Heron Corporation, and spearheading a large-scale property development program as Managing Director of Bernard Sonley Group. Later, he established Conduit Investments, building a substantial portfolio of over 300 developments across the UK and Ireland. Laurence’s proven track record and strategic insight make him an invaluable asset to Ankor Property Group.

Ghulam Cheema

Head of Accounts

Ghulam is a qualified Chartered and Chartered Management Accountant with MSc in Accounting and Finance, who joined Ankor in 2015. Ghulam currently heads finance department at Ankor Property Group and is responsible for all financial and statutory compliance matters. With over 17 years of industry experience, Ghulam has represented various national and international brands within retail, private equity and property development sector. In his roles, he has been responsible to manage turnover between £20 mil to circa £400 mil and balance sheets with gross assets value in excess of a £150 mil. Ghulam is expert in management reporting, devising KPIs and putting robust business systems and processes in place for effective and efficient business management.

Luke Kemp

Head of Investment

Luke is in charge of all investment decisions whether it is land acquisitions or buildings already up and built. Luke worked most recently for Savills in their student accommodation valuation team. Prior to this, Luke was a Director at Cushman & Wakefield in the student accommodation team. Whilst at Cushmans he underertook loan security and regulated purpose valuations for Octopus Property, Maslow Capital, Bank of China, LendInvest Limited, Investec, Coutts, HSBC, Bank of London and the Middle East (BLME) and BP Pension Fund. He was also part of the valuation team that valued the Mayflower Portfolio for acquisition purposes.  It comprised 16 properties in 10 locations around the UK with a value of approximately £180 million.

Tony Houghton

Head of Legal

Tony is Ankor’s legal advisor and is a Director at Hill Dickinson.  His expertise is in commercial real estate, with over 25 years’ experience in acquisitions, disposals, developments and commercial leases in all sectors including investment, retail portfolios and large scale developments. Tony has acted on numerous site assemblies of city centre developments and subsequent lettings and disposals and related funding matters.

MUSKAN ASWANI

Office Manager / PA to Nori

Muskan is pursuing Masters in Business Administration and has recently joined Ankor. She provides support to senior management with organisation. She takes responsibility for the office in the UK including project management, deadline compliance, and important documents and files. She manages the diaries and schedules of the senior management. She maintains the relationships with other departments, including IT, sales, and PR.
